Changes to FT.com access

The Financial Times has announced that from 11 May 2015, paid trials will replace free registration on FT.com as the primary way for new readers to access our journalism before subscribing. FT corporate and education licences are unaffected by this change. The move towards paid trials is part of ongoing tests to explore different approaches to sampling and acquisition for consumers or individual subscriptions. Our licensing model for organisations is unaffected and continues to price according to demand. The price of a licence is based on the number of people or 'core readers' in an organisation that require frequent use of FT content. A core reader is somebody who views more than eight FT articles within a 30 day period. For more information, download our FT licensing guide.
